Over the last five years the Genomics Health Futures Mission has invested over $265 million in genomic medicine research to improve testing, diagnosis and treatment options for many diseases.
This has led to the development of programs across disease areas that employ genomic solutions to novel gene discovery, variant analysis and therapeutic approaches.
To encourage collaboration and streamline recruitment, the AFGN has developed a decision tree that maps out the GHFM-funded programs that incorporates multi-omic and functional genomic solutions to variant resolution and genetic diagnosis.
